Dr. Gerald Cerdan

Dr. Cerdan, born in the Philippines, moved to Florida at age 8. As valedictorian at Union County High School, he excelled in music and tennis, earning principal percussion chair in Florida's All-State bands. He graduated with high honors from the University of Florida in 1998, earning a bachelor's in Molecular Biology with a Chemistry minor.

At Temple University School of Dentistry, he was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon honor society (top 10 graduates) and graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2003. After practicing in Southwest Florida, he relocated to Winter Haven in 2007.

A member of several professional organizations including the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Dr. Cerdan remains dedicated to learning the latest dental techniques. He serves the community through Winter Haven Rotary, Angels Care Center, and as a Boy Scouts den leader. He enjoys traveling and raising chickens with his wife, Dr. Gianna DeSimone, and their four children.

Dr. Gianna DeSimone

Dr. Gianna DeSimone graduated from Temple University School of Dentistry in 2003. She completed her undergraduate bachelor’s degree in Anthropology with a concentration in Biology at Temple University. She has experience in both pediatric and general dentistry in private and public health settings since 2003. She was a University of Florida Adjunct Faculty Member at the CHSI Community Health Site in Naples. She has also served as a member of Affiliate Advisory Committee as the Southeastern States Representative for the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. DeSimone brings a wealth of expertise in dentistry and business to her administrative role at Winter Haven Family and Cosmetic Dentistry as the Chief Operations Officer. Having a strong foundation in oral health care and patient relations, Dr. DeSimone ensures the seamless operation of the office, focusing on delivering unparalleled service and a superior patient experience. Together with her husband, Dr. Gerald Cerdan, their dedication to precision and commitment to excellence sets the standard for the team, creating a foundation for top-tier dental care.

Dr. Farah Habib

Dr. Farah Habib is one of the dentists at Winter Haven Family and Cosmetic Dentistry and joined the practice in 2018. Dr. Habib pursued her undergraduate degree at theUniversity of Miami in Coral Gables, FL and graduated with a Bachelor’s in Science. She continued her education and earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine from NovaSoutheastern University in Davie, FL. Dr. Habib loves the many facets of dentistry, but she most enjoys getting to know her patients. To her, the heart of patient care is taking a personalized approach because each patient and their smile is special. Whether a patient’s concern is cosmetic, restorative, or a dental emergency, Dr. Habib creates a genuine connection with her patients and provides them with the excellent, individualized care they need.
